Hey everyone! The weather has gotten oh-so-nice and I'm itching to work with families and some super-cute kiddos! This year, I've gotten a little creative and put together a little camping set-up for some mini sessions at Dearborn Park in Holly. I still have plenty of openings!
Spending time with my family is so important to me (so much so, that I've finally accepted a new day job closer to home, yay!) so every chance I get, we are playing together as a family in our backyard or adventuring around the Mitten in our travel trailer. Camping has been a part of my summer experience for a long time, a tradition that started by my parents when I was young, and I am so happy to get to share this with my own children now. We truly have the best times when we are camping together - no TV, no distractions, just quality time well-spent. So it should come as no surprise that I wanted to incorporate this feeling of closeness and freedom into my photography work.
You might notice that many of my advertisements include my own children - they are the best models I could ask for! Sure, maybe I should branch out and include some other kiddos in my materials, but why do that when I can spend the extra time with my very own? I'm sure once they get older, they won't be so excited to trounce around overgrown fields with their mama, but for now, I'll take what I can get. In the spirit of sharing, here's a few from our camping mini session. Enjoy!
